Did you witness assault on dog walker?

A 25-year-old man out walking three dogs suffered a broken ankle during an assault in the street.

Police are now appealing for people who witnessed the incident opposite Monsoon in Tonbridge High Street, on Saturday, April 14, at around 7.10pm to contact them.

The assault followed a verbal altercation between a group of people and the dog walker who lives locally.

Detectives believe that passers-by on the opposite pavement witnessed what took place and they would like to speak to them.

Anyone who saw the incident is asked to contact police on 01732 379217.
