Little Bonnie Basford is making another milestone in her life at Broadstairs Folk Week.

Last year, she was born in a tent on the festival campsite at the town’s Charles Dickens School grounds, making her the first baby born in the event’s 48-year history.

This year, Bonnie celebrated her first birthday on the campsite with her mum, Galadriel, dad, Chris, and big sister, Jazmin, 19.

She also is close to taking her first steps, and was helping her mum in the festival’s check-in and admin centre for the campsite, where Galadriel is a volunteer helper.

Galadriel said: “We love this festival and we live in Broadstairs now, but are camping out again to really get into the spirit of the event."
