Cash has been stolen following a robbery at a Coral bookmakers.

A man, with his partially covered, entered the betting shop in Dane Valley Road, Margate, before demanding money be handed over from the till.

The robbery, which ended with the suspect taking a quantity of cash, happened yesterday shortly after 4pm.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward, with the suspect described as being black and wearing a light grey or white hooded top.

No weapons were used during the incident and no injuries were reported.
