Cash-in-hand deal could cost you dear

IN A recent Department of Trade and Industry survey, nearly half of those questioned said they would pay cash in hand for building work.

According to the Federation of Master Builders, these people only have themselves to blame when something goes wrong. It, therefore, makes sense, says the FMB, to employ a professional in the first place.
