Police investigating alleged stabbing in Coronation Flats, Jenkins Dale, Chatham release image of man they wish to speak to

Officers investigating a reported stabbing in Chatham have released a computer-generated image of a man they wish to speak to.

The incident happened outside a property at Coronation Flats, Jenkins Dale, between 8.50pm and 9pm on Monday.

A woman in her 20s opened her front door to a man who reportedly offered her £20 for drugs.

When she told him she didn't know what he meant and tried to close the door, he is alleged to have stabbed her in the lower stomach with a sharp object, before fleeing the scene.

The victim has been discharged from hospital after being given stitches.

Her alleged attacker is described as being a tall and slim white man in his 30s, and was wearing dark clothing including a hooded top with drawstrings.
