Mini-moto and car crash in Knight Avenue, Gillingham, leaves man in 20s in hospital

A man has ended up in hospital after the mini-moto he was riding was involved in a collision with a car.

Paramedics and police officers were called to Knight Avenue, Gillingham at 1.35pm.

The man, who is in his 20s, is not thought to be in a critical condition.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police were called at 1.35pm following a collision involving a car and a minimoto in Knight Avenue, Gillingham.

"The motorcyclist – a man in his 20s – was taken to hospital with injuries not reported to be life-threatening."
