Tonbridge boss Tommy Warrilow left Folkestone on Monday happy with the club’s first Ryman League Premier Division point of the season but knowing it could have been more.

It finished 0-0 but Frannie Collin saw his second-half penalty saved by goalkeeper Jack Delo, who then kept out his follow-up effort. Tonbridge were also convinced that Jake Beecroft's effort was over the line but no goal was given.

Warrilow said: "It sums up the way things have been going for us. Credit to the boy he went the right way and got up and reacted to the second shot. We played in good areas at times and I was pleased with a point but still came away a little bit frustrated."

"I’m as disappointed as anyone about the start we have had and we are a lot better than this. I will roll up my sleeves and have a go to put things right and I want the players to do the same."

He has responded to losing striker Paul Booth to Farnborough, by bringing in Sherwin Stanley from Boreham Wood, while Adam Burchell has returned on loan from Dartford. He said: "Sherwin is a pacy striker who was with Aveley last season, while ‘Burchy’ will be with us for a month.

Warrilow faces old club Horsham at Longmead tomorrow (Saturday) and admitted: "It won’t be a stroll in the park."
