Maidstone's hopes for a local act winning Britain's Got Talent have been quashed.
Dance troupe the Hot Honeyz crashed out of the show on Monday night after failing to win a place in the final.
The all girl group, which is based at the Mandy Ellen School of Performing Arts in Maidstone, had impressed judges Simon, Amanda and Piers on Saturday to reach the semi final.
However, the competition became just too tough on Bank Holiday Monday, and the girls failed to make the final grade.
