Hollingbourne: Road reopened after crash leaves lorry overturned between M20 and A20

A link road between the M20 and A20 has now been reopened following a serious crash.

Emergency crews were called to the scene of a "serious collision" involving a lorry and a van near Hollingbourne.

The accident happened around 4.10pm yesterday on the link road of the M20 between junction 8 for Leeds and the A20.

The impact of the crash left the lorry overturned.

Police confirmed an air ambulance attended and the motorway was closed in both directions.

Officers, paramedics, and crews from two fire engines all attended.

A police spokesman said: "Motorists are advised to expect heavy delays and find alternative routes if possible.

Police confirmed this morning, at around 7am, that the link road had reopened.
