MORKEL: "I'd love to come back and learn some more"

MORNE MORKEL has revealed he would be delighted to remain at Kent for the rest of the summer.

The 22-year-old paceman has joined the club as a three-week locum for Andrew Hall but Morkel already has the taste for more.

A rookie player with one Test cap and only 19 first-class appearances, he has already proved a handful with his blend of 85mph bouncers and away swingers.

He said: "I feel I can play at a high level. I'm at the level I want to be at now, it's a question of getting experience.

"It would be ideal if I could play a bit of championship cricket and if all goes well I'd love to come back and learn some more."
