Two arrested in alleged gang assault

Two men suffered cuts and bruises to their faces after being attacked in Blue Boar Lane, Rochester, in the early hours of Friday morning.

The pair, 19 and 20, who have not been named, got injured in the incident which took place at about 2.30am.

One 18-year-old Gillingham man has been arrested and bailed in connection with the alleged gang assault.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward to help in identifying others said to have been involved in the assault.
