Ten Kent beers are being toasted as among the best of British.

The ales have been selected beers from 10 Kent breweries for next week's Great British Beer Festival at Earls Court.

The festival, organised by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), is touted as the "showcase for British beer".

It boasts more than 500 real ales brewed by 320 British breweries on sale for the expected 65,000 visitors from August 2 to August 6.

Tony Jerome, CAMRA's head of marketing said: "With over 1,000 real ales, ciders, perries and foreign beers available at this year's Great British Beer Festival we hope there will plenty of choice for everyone who visits the show.
