Police hunt camouflaged man after £1 shop threat

A man was threatened in a Kent high street after refusing to hand over £1.

The incident happened in Chatham shortly before 7pm on Tuesday June 3.

A 46-year-old man was allegedly approached by an Eastern European man with a moustache dressed in camouflage who asked for £1.

When the man refused to give it to him he became aggressive and only left when the 46-year-old said he was calling the police.

Police are appealing for witnesses and have released a CCTV image of a man they are keen to talk to.
