Pedestrian struck by lorry on estate

TRAFFIC on the Medway City Estate at Strood ground to a standstill today when a pedestrian was in collision with a lorry.

The accident happened at around 1pm near the McDonald's restaurant in Anthony's Way.

So far the condition of the pedestrian is not known, but an eye-witness said the person looked to be very seriously hurt.
