An inquest into the deaths of three Kent-based soldiers killed by a rogue Afghan soldier has started.

The inquest into the deaths of Major James Joshua Bowman, Lieutenant Neal Turkington and Corporal Arjun Purja Pun is expected to last three days.

The soldiers, all from 1st Battalion The Royal Gurkha Rifles, were killed in an attack on a base in Helmand Province on July 12 last year.
