POLICE investigating an assault on a young woman have released a computer-generated image of the offender.

The teenager, aged 17, was walking in Boscombe Road, Folkestone, outside the garage near Foord Road, at around 1.15 am on Monday, June 4 when a man grabbed her arm and shoulder and tried to pin her up against a wall.

She managed to break free by kicking and head-butting him and left the scene unharmed.

Two Staffordshire Bull Terriers ran past the scene but it is not known if they were with an owner.

The offender is described as being a man of dark European appearance, medium build, aged 20 to 30, 5ft 9in tall, with short black hair and a beard.
