M20 crash causes long tailbacks

Drivers are being urged to stay away from the M20 around Folkestone after an accident involving a motorcyclist.

That accident led to the closure of the coastbound slip road and roundabout at junction 12 for Cheriton and there are massive tailbacks as far as the Hythe exit.

A man was taken to hospital with leg injuries after the crash, which happened soon after 4pm.

Those injuries are not though to be life threatening and there was no other vehicle involved.
