AROUND 500 specially-printed Valentine Cards are to be sent to persistent burglars in an operation by South East Kent police to reduce break-ins.

Police throughout the county are also planning early morning raids on those who break into homes and sell stolen goods as part of Operation Castle.

Superintendent Paul Brandon, told KM-fm the cards remind criminals they are never far from officers' thoughts...
