Two teenage boys have been charged with burglary in River and St Margaret's

Two teenagers have been charged in connection with burglaries in Dover.

Kent Police were alerted to a burglary at an address in Lewisham Road, River which is believed to have taken place at about 5am on Saturday, November 29.

A computer tablet, phone and car keys were stolen and a vehicle was also taken.

On November 19, police were called to a report of a burglary in Reach Road, St Margarets at Cliffe, Dover, where a television was taken from an address.

Two teenagers from Dover were arrested on November 29.

The 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have both been charged with two counts of burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, driving with no insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.

They have been bailed to appear at Folkestone youth court on January 6.
