Suspected drug dealer arrested in Biggin Street Dover with police seen outside Peacocks store

A suspected drug dealer was arrested in a busy town centre today.

Officers swooped on the man in Biggin Street, Dover, and eyewitnesses say he was arrested outside the Peacocks clothes shop.

Police said they were called to the scene at about 11.30am today.

A spokesman said: "Kent Police received reports of a man acting suspiciously in Biggin Street, Dover, at 11.32am.

"Officers attended the scene and arrested one man on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs."
