A man arrested on suspicion of possessing cannabis with intent to supply has been released on bail

A 21-year-old Dover man arrested on suspicion of possessing cannabis with intent to supply has been released on bail.

He was arrested following a drugs warrant by the Dover Community Policing Team at a flat in Maison Dieu Road on Monday.

Cash, cannabis and drugs paraphernalia were seized.

He has been bailed until Thursday, October 29 while inquiries continue.

Inspector Guy Thompson said: "This warrant was as a result of information from the community.

"We will continue to arrest those involved in drugs supply in Dover and Deal and thank the public for their continuing support in reducing the opportunities for drug dealers in the district and making it a safe place to live, work and visit."
