Store opening creates fresh jobs

A NEW £500,000 store starts business in Deal town centre on Friday, June 25, when Iceland opens in Queen Street.

Twenty-six full and part-time jobs will be created and Iceland will be open seven days a week.

The move to Deal is part of an expansion programme across the company. Iceland operates more than 754 stores across the UK and in 2000 merged with Booker to be part of The Big Food Group.
