Nicky Forster has hailed the Blue Square Bet South double-header with top-four opponents Maidenhead and Welling, plus the FA Cup derby with Bromley, as ‘potentially the biggest week of the season'.

Dover host Maidenhead on Saturday before a trip to third-placed Welling on Tuesday and, after ending their home hoodoo with a 2-1 win over Tonbridge in the FA Cup on Saturday, face Bromley at Crabble in the third qualifying round on Saturday, October 6.

Forster said: "It will be a good test for us. Maidenhead have started well and Welling are certainly going to be up there or thereabouts come the end of the season.

"It’s a big week, possibly a decisive week but I am a firm believer that you cannot pinpoint the specific results which cost you or made you until the end of the season."

Forster misses out on Saturday with a tweaked knee, while Dean Rance serves a one-game ban. Sean Raggett has joined Herne Bay on loan.
