Huge delays after Dartford Tunnel closure due to three lorry crash

There are huge tailbacks on the M25 and A2 after a three-lorry crash near the Dartford Crossing.

The east tunnel was shut for around an hour following the collision which happened just after 2pm today.

The route has since reopened but heavy congestion remains on the M25 between junctions 3 (Swanley) and J1A for the Darenth interchange.

Another accident at junction 2 is also adding to the delays.

There are currently up to 45 minute delays on the Dartford Tunnel approach with six mile long tailbacks.

While traffic is also tailing back to Bexleyheath on the A2.

Roads in the surrounding areas are also affected.
