Firefighters perform rescue from lift

Six people have been rescued from a jammed lift by firefighters.

Crews were called to offices above Banks Place in Market Place, Dartford, at around 8.30pm yesterday and used a crow bar to prise open the doors.

The lift had got stuck between floors and the six were rescued after around 20 minutes.
