A second half goal from Elliot Bradbrook helped Dartford close to within five points of Blue Square Bet South leaders Woking after a 1-0 win at Eastbourne Borough on Tuesday night.

Tony Burman's side should have been ahead going into the break, but a deflected shot that came off a Borough defender came back of a post and a Luke Wilkinson effort beat the goalkeeper but not the crossbar.

Darts had an even better chance to open the scoring in the first half when they were awarded a penalty, but Adam Green's spot-kick was well saved.

The visitors had to wait until just after the hour mark to break the deadlock when Green's right-footed cross was met by Bradbrook (pictured) who steered into the net.

The Darts closed out the win to edge closer to Woking and moved eight points ahead of third-placed Welling.
