A crash involving two cars left a teenager needing hospital treatment last night.

The smash on Top Dartford Road, Hextable, involved a black Mitsubishi Shogun and a blue Ford KA.

The 16-year-old girl was taken to hospital by ambulance on a spinal board with a suspected back injury.

Dartford fire crews were called out at about 7.05pm last night (Tuesday).

Richard Cromarty, white watch manager, said: "We had one pump. We were there about an hour. We administered first aid until ambulance crews arrive and we then prevented fluids such as petrol entering the drain."
