Faversham In Bloom winners announced

Gorgeous gardens and alluring allotments were celebrated this week as the winners of the annual Faversham in Bloom contest were announced.

The town’s gardeners gathered in the Abbey Physic Community Garden to be presented with their awards by the by the Mayor of Faversham, Cllr Ted Wilcox.

Swale in Bloom co-ordinator Sallie Shaw said: "Not only is Ted the mayor but he is also the chairman of Faversham in Bloom and the treasurer of the physic garden so is clearly a very appropriate person to conduct the presentation."
